Pros

Some of my colleagues are kind and supportive, but unfortunately, this isn’t enough to offset the many issues within the company.

Cons

Unethical practices. Terrible Culture: The work culture is toxic and largely fear-based. There is a complete lack of respect for employees, and management is more interested in extracting as much work as possible without considering employee well-being. Overwork is the norm, and there's little to no appreciation for the hard work that goes into our projects. The company rewards long hours over quality work, and most employees feel like they’re just cogs in a machine. Condescending Leadership: Leadership, especially at the senior level, is condescending and often belittles employees. Instead of fostering a supportive, collaborative environment, they maintain a hierarchical structure that discourages open dialogue or feedback. When issues or concerns are raised, they are quickly dismissed, and employees are made to feel that their opinions don’t matter. There is a culture of top-down control where leadership prefers to dictate decisions rather than work with employees as partners. No Health/Medical Benefits for Most Employees: Perhaps one of the most unethical aspects of working at Firstsource is that employees below a certain level do not receive any healthcare benefits. This is especially troubling considering the company’s profitability, yet they refuse to provide such basic coverage for their workforce. It’s a blatant disregard for employee well-being and a reflection of the company’s priorities. High Turnover and Low Morale: The turnover rate is shockingly high, and morale is at rock bottom. Many employees leave because of the toxic culture and the lack of transparency and support. People often burn out quickly due to the high expectations and lack of recognition, leading to constant turnover. No Career Growth: There is little to no opportunity for career advancement unless you’re part of the “right” inner circle. Promotions are rare, and they often appear to be based on favoritism rather than merit. Even high-performing employees are often overlooked in favor of less qualified candidates with better connections. If you're not already in a senior role, it’s unlikely you’ll go anywhere within the company. Unrealistic Expectations and Overwork: Employees are expected to work long hours, often beyond the standard workweek, with no real reward or acknowledgment for their efforts. There is a complete lack of work-life balance, and employees are often pressured to stay late or answer emails after hours. This culture of overwork leads to burnout and dissatisfaction.

Pros

Remote, Company provides equipment, No Weekends. Gain your experience and move on!

Cons

People with higher education do not succeed with this company. Peanut shells for pay (not the whole peanut) with expensive “benefits”. Very much ran on favoritism. Some leaders micro manage to the point of not wanting to clock in to a remote position, yet take zero initiative in training you at any time during your onboarding. Equipment is subpar. Beware of the HIPAA violations!!!!!
