Pros

My starting salary was good for the job, and my co-workers (minus the management) were generally friendly.

Cons

Overworked, I would work 14 hour shifts and the management would refuse to give me breaks, I was promised a raise that I never received, I was verbally abused by both my GM and my AM, even when I requested a days off anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months in advance I hardly ever received them, resulting in constantly having to reschedule doctors appts, etc. I would even explain why I needed the days off and would still not receive them although other employees would get those days off. They frequently cut me early due to labor, but yet nearly always tried to call me on my days off. My GM was known for skimming money off peoples final checks, and even when presented with evidence he would not change the amount they would receive. I would be asked to take out mass amounts of trash by myself every morning (it would be overflowing out of the bin, probably 200+lbs) that my AM opened but I myself weight 115lbs and am not even tall enough to open the containers with out climbing onto them.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
