Pros

*Relatively good pay for the industry *Allows most individuals to reach management *Flexible scheduling *Reasonable with needing to take time off to take care of children.

Cons

*You will have to wait 3-4 years to try and get past the title manager, this includes senior shift lead, or assistant gm *Not much benefits to be spoke of, and the insurance they have is not worth what you pay *There is much preaching about the "five guys way" but on a store to store basis, it doesn't seem to matter much at all. *Management team is less than happy to train newcomers *If you sign on full time there isn't much flexibility. Everyone WILL be upset when you try to take time off for any reason. *There is little to no disciplinary action taken on anyone employed, meaning you will likely end up working with someone who doesn't care to work.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
