Pros
Whole lot of none followed by more none
Cons
Unfortunately, this company went from having so much potential and momentum since coming out of COVID to spiraling out of control over the last two years because of the COO who was put in leadership. We have lost nearly the entire corporate team with decades of experience, countless employees from the field, and endless partnerships. For a COO who did not know what a HDMI cable was until we taught him. They will always spin the narrative that it’s the employees, and until they come to terms with the realization that it’s the leadership of the COO, Five-Star will always be a revolving door of employees because of the broken possesses. Aside from the leadership however, the men and women who work for the company in the field; techs, ADs, sales, and our directors and of course the team in the corporate office, under the COO, are some of the best people you can work alongside and build relationships with. Unfortunately, Five-Star sees them as expendable pawns and will use them to put out the company's knee-jerk reaction fires with delusions of moving up within the company. Five-Star only promotes people based on who they know and not what they know. If you are looking for a company with no processes, zero SOPs, an inexperienced COO, with no opportunity to move up within the company, unless you can be an obedient lap dog, high school b.s, and conspiracy theories then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a company where the leadership understands the industry, understands that there is no company without its employees, cares about their culture and maintaining the company vision without growing beyond their means, then don’t work for Five-Star. Look at great companies like SNA Events or Pinnacle. There you will find structure and a leadership of loyal respectable men. The reviews below over the last two years paint a picture of the dumpster fire that is this company. Aside from the reviews that were planted by the COO. See ya soon!
