Pros
Functions like a very typical Californian company, highly inclusive and understanding which works to their detriment because incredibly mediocre people get brought in and you can easily get away with cruising if you can arbitrage your geographical locality with other team members. If you're politically and socially intelligent, you can get away with minimum 2-3 hours of work per week and get paid full salary and bonuses, with PTO. Soft culture enables this and won't change cause everyone is in on it. If you're reading this, know that most of the leadership are dumping stock constantly and never buying.
Cons
Tech debt is hilarious and has been a continued struggle. Nepotism runs wild and pure merit isn't rewarded, you can be a killer performer but won't be recognised. Guys, stop letting in mediocre people, it drags down the company. But if you're not amibitious and after a pay check, this is the place to be. Automate as much as possible and spend time working on side hustles while getting paid for a full 40hr week.
