Pros

-Great staff members with which to work, great culture. -Advancement opportunities to those who seek it. -Wide range of co-workers with different specialties - helps those seeking personal growth. -Management that seems to care about their staff. -Flexibility with PTO usage; offers OT as pay or PTO.

Cons

-Appropriation of salaries to its staff. -Most of those dictating "sales" [upgrade/implementation] efforts, don't know the technology being sold. -Many aspects of the 'why' or 'how' regarding client issues lack any sense of responsibility/accountability on those in charge of the account. -People in the office tend to not work a lot more than they actually do; constant chatter, web-surfing, weekend planning, etc. -A lot of wandering around the office by many engineers; constant water/bathroom breaks, no direction or supervision being dictated. -Those in higher positions tend to direct planning, poorly and then blame the engineers doing the work about timelines. -Management actively states they hate having meetings; then proceeds to complain about a lack of communication between departments.

Pros

If you are a fresh college grad or transitioning to IT, you’ll learn a lot in a short period of time. Office, equipment, and amenities are very nice. Free coffee daily and free bagels once a week.

Cons

If you are ambitious, do not work here. There is no sense of direction and no path for growth. You will be treated as a number. You’ll likely end up in the same spot for years until you either quit, get fired, or end up being one of the favorites. You will be underpaid and overworked. It is a stressful environment. Management is open to suggestions or feedback for improvement, however, they will listen and not make any changes. Management has little to no clue about the daily struggles the techs have to deal with. You will rarely receive the credit you deserve. Sometimes, a simple thank you or act of appreciation can go a long way. You will be required to participate in a weekly on-call rotation every so often which will ruin that entire week. They removed their work from home policy even though 90+% of the work can be done remotely. The company offers no bonuses and no 401k matches despite having a hockey rink and bowling alley which employees barely use. They constantly change their policies and systems. They constantly move desks around. Of all the companies I have worked for, I have never seen so many people come and go. Almost every time I walked past a conference room, there was someone being interviewed. They tend to hire those with little to no experience so they can pay less and “train them up”.
