Pros

Work from home Lunches on Wednesdays

Cons

I worked at Floify for 4 days before they let me go. On my first day I was given absolutely no guidance or training. No one could really tell me what my “job” was or took the time to sit with me to go over key branding and expectations. Instead I was thrown to the wolves and was clearly not welcome, as if they set me up for failure. They told me everything I was doing was wrong, but could never provide me with an explanation or any guidance to fix or grow. The only training or help I got was from IT, a required security training course. They in no way tried to include me and it was evident I was an outsider. The CEO was passive aggressive, never talked to me, and talked about me behind my back instead of openly communicating. They couldn’t even give me an explanation as to why they were letting me go 4 days after I started and had all these expectations that were never communicated. Extremely unprofessional.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time at Floify. I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience during your time here, and it's true that working at Floify isn't for everyone. Change is constant in our business, and we ask our team members to be incredibly agile as we serve customers in a fast moving industry. Related to your comments about the lack of training, we are working hard in this area and are working on improving our onboarding practices. The work-from-home policy can leave some new people feeling like outsiders. We have taken measures to prevent this in the future. Thanks again for taking the time to leave this review and we wish you the best in your career.

Pros

The people on the ground are incredible. They are collaborative, accountable, supportive, and deeply committed to building quality solutions. Peer-to-peer learning here was unmatched. I learned more from my colleagues than in any academic or previous work setting. Remote was helpful for work-life balance.

Cons

Upper management demonstrated no interest in retaining experienced employees. Several key contributors left, and leadership made no meaningful effort to understand or prevent the trend. When legitimate concerns were raised about technical debt, unstable code foundations, or unsustainable product direction, they were dismissed, deflected, or shut down. Leadership showed a clear preference for short-term feature delivery over long-term platform stability. Direct communication about difficult topics was met with avoidance or, worse, retaliation. It took a public emotional breakdown from a team member to finally garner attention from leadership—an unacceptable failure in basic team support. Critical feedback was often treated as inconvenient rather than constructive.
