Cons
Where to begin. Politics are the name of the game. The closer to the Fanjul family you are, the higher you go. If you ask questions, they will bury you. From day one, you are warned about who you can and cannot speak to and who you need to watch your mouth around. They promoted a power hungry woman to be the office manager. A mandatory lunch was held to announce her position, at which point we were told not to have any personal items or photos on our desks, not to eat at our desks, not to have loud conversations, and to not use a door that opened to the bathrooms for fear it would disturb the empty cube pods around it. Management frequently calls non-essential employees after hours or weekends and demands that they conduct a meeting with them or complete a task right then. 1 am phone calls have been documented as well as Saturday calls. Employees are now facing disciplinary action with HR for criticizing the new Ariba program. Management has continuously been reported to HR with no action being taken. Personal threats have been documented through texts. Employees have had to take personal leave for months at a time due to mental breakdowns. There are no consequences and no repercussions for anyone other than to be buried until they break.
