Disregard and lack of respect for their employees - Aircraft Mechanic Florida Forest Service Employee Review

This just happened today being informed that I must work on-call December 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 being communicated to me on such short notice. While I understand the operational needs of the Florida Forest Service, I would like to express my concern regarding the timing of this request. I had pre-existing plans for the holiday season, which were made well in advance, and the sudden change has put me in a difficult position. Given the nature of the request and the time of year, I am committed to my responsibilities as an employee, and I always strive to fulfill my duties. However, I also believe that a balance between work and personal time, especially during the holidays, is important for maintaining employee well-being and morale.
