Pros
There is great hands on experience. It will take a little while to pick up but there are plenty of resources to draw information from. Great place to pick up experience and gives a good stepping stone into a plant or rotating equipment position.
Cons
Pay is stagnant. Bonus is a 10% of base pay but only depends on how well the company is doing. Pay increases have to be fought for. They know it's a stepping stone job and expect you to find a better paying job with the experience you gain so there is no strong effort to keep employees. Sales seems to be the strong push after being an AE for 2-3 years. You have to leave your location to earn money.
