Great employer, exciting workplace and best in class code quality - Software Developer Floww Employee Review

I did have a great time working at Floww overall because the product was interesting and there used to be a lot of good people there. However, the current situation unfortunately overrides all of the early promise.

Things quickly turned sour as their scattershot business strategy frustrated the team. They ended up having to make lots of people redundant. Each wave of redundancies was handled even more poorly than the last, and with every set of cutbacks, the toxicity of the C-Suite became more and more visible to those that remained.

The company's product is interesting, expansion prospects are exciting.

Culture stems from leadership, and here there isn't any. The CEO (Martijn) is so focused on what he considers important that he is unresponsive, rude, and callous to other people's concerns and has spent little to no time creating a culture and work environment that excites, engages, and engenders the best of its employees. It's unfortunate and a waste.
