Pros

Fluid allows employees the opportunity to make a difference in the organization at every level. If you see something that you think you can improve, you are encouraged to share feedback and possibly lead out on that change. Fluid values its team and treats each other like family whether you are going through good times or hard times. They are understanding and flexible when things come up with life and family and want to make sure you are not all consumed with work but take time for what you are passionate about. Fluid is very creative and clients are always improved with the thinking and skill that have gone into every project. It is a great agency to build your skills, learn and take your career to the next level.

Cons

Fluid is a growing agency and has operational efficiencies to work out and ensure that all adhere to what is expected. There is maturing to do as a business and growing pains with a new focus for the future.

Pros

I made some very good friends at Fluid and learned a lot. There are times where the management can be compassionate and helpful in your career.

Cons

When brought on as a new employee to Fluid you see a company focused on culture, work life balance, and a "passion for growth". This is what Fluid aspires to be, but it has a long way to go. This is a highly patriarchal environment that does not promote diversity. The staff may be diverse however it does not translate into the company culture. Unconscious bias relating to race and gender is the biggest problem I saw during my time at Fluid. When problems were brought to upper management they were ignored or "changes" would be made, that did not fix the problem or prevent it from happening again. The hardest working employees are not valued, and the gregarious problem causing employees are held with kid gloves. Overall, it is a toxic environment from a social standpoint. Employees are paid well under the industry standard, likely due to #1 poor business practices that affect revenue #2 salaries based on race and gender. This is not an EOE. PTO/Sick time/ Paternity leave is extremely lacking. Employees are under a scrutinizing eye when they come in and leave, leading to resentment and demotivation. Turnover is very high due to all of these reasons.
