- Too much hierarchy - messages don't get passed up and down as well as they should.
- Progression and pay rises - you have to fight and justify for increases at every turn. Expected to come up with your own development plan with no input or assurance that you'll actually get anything if you reach your goals/go the extra mile.
- Feedback is very rarely given and when it is, it is typically not constructive.
- Certain teams/team members are overworked and not supported.
- The SLT work by a different set of rules to everyone else - they are afforded flexibility, good pay, less scrutiny and breaks when they need it, very few others get that.
- The culture has been diluted by poor choices in SLT and it's going to take a long time to return to what it was.
- Certain initiatives to impact people outside of FlyForm are admirable, but totally neglect that the initial focus should be on their employees.
- Comms are poor - there might be fairly regular team and company calls, but you never learn anything of substance or have consistency in the updates, e.g. financial performance month to month, important projects, sharing of business plans.
