Pros

Some co-workers are great, ownership but at a huge cost to wellbeing, you’ll get a lot of experience to speak to “how did you handle a difficult situation/competing priorities” question as you interview for your next role

Cons

Ive never experienced turnover like I have at Flywheel. Everyone is drowning and unfortunately even the best people aren’t able to be supportive to new hires to help them ramp up. As great as a person is at their job, no one is able to operate at this level of chaos. Lack of process makes it difficult for new members to onboard or do simple tasks like pacing. Teams are very siloed causing lots of under communication and lack of clarity on who owns what. This also causes many last minute projects or asks that fall on our plate that we have no context on. Team morale is extremely low. Those that have gone above and beyond for the team have been overstretched and taken advantage of without recognition and a clear path that this isn’t a long term solution. Performance reviews were just to check a box and there is no discussion of merit increase at the end of the year. Issues with leadership within teams goes unseen and unheard due to lack of visibility and communication to anyone above director level. Outside of workload, there is no connection to the company as a whole. Culture is lacking to bring offices together. Sure there are large team meetings, but there is disconnect communicating values/mission/updates from mid management to below.

Pros

As in most agencies, the best part are the teammates who are on the trenches with you.

Cons

Steer clear. Go anywhere else. In the 3 years I was at Flywheel/TPN they went through no less than 5 mergers or reclassifications. Few of which ever meaningfully impacted the work, but actively drained the agency culture and morale. 4 rounds of layoffs that I remember. NO raises and only 1 review. And a baffling RTO policy that has little to do with collaboration and everything to do with commercial real estate tax benefits. Omni sucks the life out of these incredible agencies, taking decades of innovation and turning them into mere pawns. The leadership has no real authority and views workers not as people, but numbers. The "clean desk" policy means there's zero personality in the office. Because people are not rotated off old accounts there's not fresh perspective. High stress and there no chill. I've never cried so much at a job. Not used to coworkers being so rude, cold, and snappy. Omnicom is pushing AI and monitoring if you're using it regardless of whether it's necessary or makes sense for your role. There are better agencies out there, go apply there and leave Flywheel to fix their model.
