Pros
* easy commute (if you are loving local) * if you are new in your career, you can use this place for a limited time to gain necessary experience
Cons
* salaries are lower than market average * bonus is a joke (approx £500 to £1000 before tax per year). if you manage to get any! * no processes are in place, decisions are made based on your line manager's mood ie one could get study support but the other person wouldn't! * preferential treatment amongst staff. * some managers/directors have ego problem. they can act unprofessionally including being sarcastic, shouting or swearing at people! * no appreciation or recognitions for what you do for the company but managers make big deal out of littlest mistakes! * SMT gets all the benefits including life insurance, private pension, bicycle scheme and BIG BIG bonuses etc but rest of the staff relies on statutory benefits only! * Unlike companies who adapted values and ethics of 21st century, this company is really backwards. it is like "put up & shut up" kind of attitude and mental illness is something where it is seen as a weakness!!!
