Worst Job Experience - Front Office Assistant Focus Occupational Therapy Employee Review

Pros

I loved my coworkers. It was a collaborative environment in which everyone pitched in. The clients were also a blast to work with.

Cons

The owner was difficult to work with and the staff was scared of her, because she would become passive aggressive over the smallest errors. Sometimes, she would forget what she had decided, and also get upset with you over those things as well. The pay was minimum wage for a starting position, and progressing through the ranks still did not allow you to make a basic living wage in New York City. Her pay roll was also a mess, at best.

Pros

Coworkers care about each other and it makes the day easier to get through when teamwork is heavily practiced. Close to a lot of restaurants so you never have to worry about not knowing what to get.

Cons

The organization of how patients are booked is all over the place and can be overwhelming for both front staff and back of the house therapists. Staff generally feels underappreciated for the amount of work input because of the lack of work life balance.
