Don't even consider working here, run away! - Customer Service Specialist Foodsmart Nutrition Network Employee Review

Pros

Good coworkers (if they aren't stabbing you in the back), free lunch (nothing is ever really free), you'll be asked to take on challenges (with little or no direction / or you'll be micromanaged and will make wrong decisions)

Cons

CFO is rude and condescending and every other word out of his mouth is a lie. CEO will do anything to make a sale including trashing the project he started you working on just a couple of weeks ago. This company has no strategy. They will sell ice to Eskimos and sand to Arabs even though they know nothing about ice or sand. But soon you will have to know... Until the next sale they make.

Pros

remote work, flexibility in schedule if 1099. If FT, you are extremely micromanaged on schedule and everything else.

Cons

If you've always wanted to be a dietitian, this is probably not the job for you. You will be working primarily as a social worker and Instacart support agent. Most patients don't care to talk about nutrition and are only there for the gift cards they are given. You waste hours dragging out phone calls to meet your required units. Foodsmart pays RDs the least amount that I have seen for remote work but claim to support their members who can't afford food, while giving no regard to the pay of their actual dietitians. No annual raises, no increase in pay for number of years of experience, no respect as a clinician.
