Pros
- excellent product that is best in class. if positioned correctly, competition cannot touch it (note this is not a NAC technology)
- very collaborative culture. The company is growing rapidly so you have to manually break though historical governance procedures to get things done. Good news is that everyone wants to help.
- transformative culture. Dead wood is not tolerated.
- loyal customers. time and again i've seen customers willing to talk about their positive experiences with ForeScout.
- comm plan. Best in class.
- exec engagement. The exec team are very involved in the front line running of the business. you will never lack in support in customer engagements.
= flexible. still small culture that is willing to be flexible to get stuff done.
- innovative - the product is best in class but you can see the work happening to lead the market rather than react to it. in an industry of dinosaurs, ForeScout will not be left behind.
- Culture. it's really good fun. work hard with optional play hard. you do not have to party all night to be valued
- Diverse culture. Black, white, yellow, brown, straight, gay, not sure yet, man, women, animal. Everyone is welcome. Do a good job and you will be listened to an valued. Genuinely the first time in 20 years i've seen such a diverse culture and it's amazing.
- people. hires best in class talent.
- CEO. has the perfect vision for this company and is very credible
Cons
- it's really hard work! This is not for the feint hearted, if you want an easy ride go work for Check Point or Symantec.
- Maturity. Systems, processes and governance are been broken to prepare for scale meaning you have to be work with the business.
- workloads. caused by the right kind of problems (growth and scale) you may find yourself frequently with too much on your plate. the business will help you but you have to be prepared to go the extra mile.
