Pros
Not much pros really. A dictatorial management who mistreats employees, nepotism ... and now putting fake positive reviews in glassdoor, when many former employees started to post their reviews here. Glassdoor, please take action. Beware of comments below - such as "made me more resilient". This is what the management tells those young kids from Uni to brainwash them. Moreover, Uni kids who never worked elsewhere, cannot even compare how it is like to work elsewhere. So often they fall for this lies that - Forethought is a GREAT place to work and making them resilient for the future! If you wanna keep your sanity and self respect, consider other market research or consulting firms. No one deserves to be treated like the way forethought treats people. The way they treat is even illegal by Australian law and I hope someone sues them one day for continual harassment.
Cons
Where to start! It tells you a lot about a company if their management puts fake reviews in Glassdoor, rather than trying to improve how they treat people and resolve operations issue. This is a company that: 1. Made an employee come to work while the person was sick with conjunctivitis and had a medical certificate from the doctor. Later, the employee was told that he let the team down by being sick and company is not happy with his performance. And there are many examples like this. 2. If mistreating the employees wasn't good enough, this company is also good at abusing non-conforming management. They got rid of their Head of Consulting in most bizarre way (telling employees that he was sick, until people started finding out that he was not) just because he did not agree with the owner and his buddies on some matters. You can't voice your opinion here. Owner and his incompetent+inexperienced family & friends, holding top positions in the company, are Kings, Queens and Knights. You say a thing against them and you will be punished. 3. They took their former star employees to court. Why? Because they left and client decided to follow - which is quite normal in the consulting world. 4. Brainwashing the Uni kids (or should I say young pretty girls - which is Forethought's discriminatory employment policy) saying this is how the consulting world is, they need to be resilient etc. - is blatant lies, along with the fact that several BIG Consulting firms are dying to acquire Forethought! Seriously!?
