Pros

Excellent on your resume, a lot of opportunities to work closely with an extensive client list, great coworkers

Cons

Management always seemed to care more about appearances than a genuine work-life balance, you are worked to the bone and underpaid, zero pathways to promotion. Working here made me want to pursue other opportunities outside of this industry. Fig is completely reliant on its image to the point you are expendable if you don't match their preferred lifestyle. You are not allowed to accept tips. They offer 30 minute 'facials' which typically end up being very rushed to meet the demand of upward of 10 clients per day, meaning your treatments are not as quality as they would be elsewhere. If you are truly passionate about this industry I would recommend going to a more traditional spa for a genuine experience as opposed to what feels more like the Starbucks of facials.

Pros

Fully booked, fast paced, great place for new estheticians to learn and grow.

Cons

Can be physically demanding, 9 facials in a day.

Pros

Team members and estheticians are all good people. You get free product every once in a while. Customers aren't the worst. CEO and vision behind a woman owned and operated brand is great.

Cons

Everyone here is extremely overworked. The booking system allows nine appointments back to back in one shift. The physical requirements of BOTH esthetician or GEA positions lead to extreme back and wrist pain. Raises and promotions are not offered. Management is extremely passive- aggressive and the micromanagement here is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Additionally, store employees are not allowed to use the nice restrooms, and must enter and exit work through the back door. Corporate employees act as though store workers are beneath them and treat them like servants. Promotional discounts created often fail to consider working conditions: clients and influencers leave no gratuity after receiving free services, even if they are 1 hr +. Pay is not enough for the above and beyond service delivered. Turnover is high
