Toxic work environment- punitive approach, unrealistic expectations, micromanagement, no recognition, lack of balance, no transparency, hostile environment, limited growth opportunity, favoritism, no consistency.
Management is secretive and keeps to themselves. No experience managing.
Unqualified individuals with their own agendas are put into leadership positions.
Most of the time leaders have no idea where employees are working or what they are working on.
Unrealistic expectations placed on engineers because priorities shift and additional work is constantly being added.
Different departments do not talk to one another therefore they sign up for more and more work to be completed.
Leadership talks a big talk about culture, but does not live it themselves.
