Pros

Forward is a good program. Many of my coworkers were in recovery and had a real heart towards the clients. My direct supervisor was reasonable and easy to approach. I had a reasonable sized caseload that was typical for the field.

Cons

On my first day, I made it clear that I needed to be first shift. There were two employees ahead of me in seniority for shift change. I didn't mind starting on 2nd shift to get my foot in the door. When I gave notice more than 90 days later, it was unclear if I would ever get my shift change. The two before me did, and three new employees were hired on first ahead of me. Additionally, it is implied (and literally the culture) that you have to complete your documentation off the clock. It is an unspoken expectation. Almost every one of my coworkers shared privately with me concerning this burden. I rarely let my documentation bleed into the next day and it was common for me to work 10-20 hours a week off the clock to turn my work in same day. Leadership constantly emphasized same day documentation and falling behind would earn you a "coaching".
