A lot more admin work than in previous case management positions. Sometimes it feels like most of admin work is busy work (but most are dictated by state regulations). Most of my experience has been during times of Covid-19 restrictions, but I do wish there was more ability to engage with participants. If you are looking to be more active in your caseload's lives, this agency which is geared more towards referring participants to other programs than taking the active approach, may not be the right fit for you. I do think that the inclusion of Transition to Success, Map of my Dreams is trying to alleviate this criticism though. Initial onboarding could use work as well, there were skills that I don't think were taught to me in onboarding. I have felt as well that I have been told conflicting information about how to complete certain tasks such as when audits are completed on cases. Overall, the pros generally outweigh the cons.
