Pros

The people. In general you'll be treated with respect and consideration. The environment is somewhat like a startup (still fairly fun and laid back and energetic) while also having the stability a lot of startups lack. Though the company is young, they put a lot of thought into how they can make the work environment a good one for everyone. This focus has resulted in a lot of genuinely fun team-building events. No one is too straight-laced at Foundant...and that's both a good and a bad thing sometimes. In general, one of the best things about Foundant is that the leadership understands that even great people occasionally mess up and they're very patient with their team. They seem to clearly feel that no mistake is too big to recover from. As an employee I really liked working for a company I felt wouldn't kick me to the curb should I ever mess up. And I had the opportunity to observe how the company responded in the face of adversity. In general, with both employees and clients they were always determined to "do the right thing" no matter how difficult. Also, everyone (from your co-workers to your clients) are among the most appreciative you'll find anywhere. There's no dearth of appreciation for what you do from your peers and clients. This is a nice change from other places I've worked.

Cons

Only one "con" occurs to me--and it's a side-effect of the non-straight-laced nature of Foundant: people feel free to say a lot of what is on their mind, and not all of it is appropriate for the workplace...mostly in terms of snark and sarcasm which can hurtful and introduce paranoia and uncertainty.
