Pros

The people are truly what makes working for FBG so awesome. Aaron has developed a culture that really feels like family. Aaron himself is one of the most kind hearted and genuine people I've ever met. He really cares about others and will go above and beyond to help people succeed in this career. Not to mention, what this company does for families, helping protect them from the financial devastation of cancer, is amazing. And the commission structure is unbeatable. If you're coachable, motivated, and disciplined, you can really have an amazing career and can have some pretty amazing financial success.

Cons

If you've never worked in outside sales, there is definitely going to be a learning curve for you. Sales can be tough. But if you're coachable and you do what you're taught with a great attitude, you can do well. No cons as far as the company goes.

Pros

- Leadership: The entire leadership team is a high quality group of people, without exception. Each person that I got a chance to work with is smart, honest, talented, and hard-working. They truly care about your development as a salesperson, leader, and individual. - Structure: Working as an independent contractor allows you the freedom and flexibility to design your work schedule around your life. It also allows for generous commissions, as well as renewals that make it a potentially very lucrative opportunity. - Culture: Thanks to great leadership, the culture of FBG is one of hard work, integrity, and providing a valuable service to people who really need it. In addition to that, it is a tight-knit group that genuinely likes and enjoys working with one another.

Cons

- Structure: Although the structure can be a huge perk, it can also be difficult for some. Being an independent contractor requires tons of discipline, and it can be easy to get off track if you are not focused on working a consistent schedule. - Emotional product: FBG sells supplemental insurance for cancer, accidents, and other catastrophic illnesses. These are very valuable, high-quality products. However, the conversations that selling these products require can be heavy (odds of getting cancer, having a heart attack, etc.). People who excel with FBG are able to focus on the valuable service they are providing, rather than the emotional nature of the conversations they are having with prospects.
