Pros

Top healthcare & research mission, experts and culture. Respected nationally across medical associations, teaching hospitals and healthcare providers and the industry.

Cons

This can be pro or possible con. Merged with a patient education company called Healthwise in Boise, that has a respectable mission and great culture too. The Foundation has a very dedicated and well-known medical, health research and policy staff still working to create an outcomes data plan.

Pros

The company offered me an internship when I expressed interest in their mission. They gave me the support and materials to conduct my own survey study of an area of mutual interest. They also gave ample opportunity to learn more by inviting me to meetings and giving me projects to enhance my education. It was the best internship experience and environment I've ever been lucky enough to be a part of. With so many happy and kind people working there, I am confident that the company treats its full-time employees just as well.

Cons

The foundation doesn't have a structured internship program, so at times, it felt as though I wasn't busy enough. Having worked in the corporate world a bit, progress in a non-profit can also seem a bit slow.
