The wonderful interns and volunteers that donate their time to the organization and community. The outreach events to reach those in the community who need resources.
Cons
Leaders in senior roles regularly engage in gossip, manipulation, open bullying, and degrading language toward volunteers, interns, and staff. The organization lacks a formal HR function or clear policies to address these behaviors, leaving affected people without protection or recourse. I urge establishment of HR or external HR support, and adoption of anti-harassment policies and leadership training.
