Healthy living, social responsibility and youth development is a great mission to work towards and most staff are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about the mission. Being able to see life changes and the positive effects on others through one's hard work and innovation can't be beat. Opportunities to collaborate with community and to develop impactful programs. Flexible schedule. Free gym membership. Staff are given some opportunity to attend YMCA trainings.

Staff morale is low with a general feeling that higher management talks the mission but does not support it. Changes in policy, procedures, program management and staff are done with no input and seem to have very little plan behind the changes. Overtime without compensation is expected. Medical benefits are terrible.

People in my group are very helpful, and i've learned a lot from the research experiences, also they always have some new interesting researches.

The location is not very good, also they do not help to apply for the special Beijing ID which means you cannot buy apartments or even own a car in Beijing.
