• Extremely low pay for the amount of responsibility. $17 during training and $18 after licensing is not competitive for insurance work.
• Unrealistic training timeline. Only about a week to study for the insurance exam, and if you fail they deduct $300 from your paycheck.
• Constant monitoring. Having to keep your camera on during training and OJT feels excessive and uncomfortable.
• Very heavy workload. Reps are expected to handle complicated auto policy questions, billing issues, and frustrated members all at once.
• Many members are older and struggle with technology, which makes simple tasks take much longer while still being judged on call metrics.
• Stressful environment with high expectations but very little support.
