Pros

Diverse colleges. Good initial training.

Cons

Low pay. Low morale. Shouted at if you are between calls for any longer than 30 seconds. hardly any parking, park and ride car park is the alternative (a 20 min walk). No assistance or support from management. Operations managers are a complete joke. Extremely high turnover of staff. Forced to sell even though the job was initially customer services. You can only advance if you are a 'Yes' man. Sitel is a 'halfway house' for anyone (and i mean anyone) who needs a stop gap job. People with at least half a brain cell seem to leave after a very short time hence the high turnover.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
