Pros

Nine that I can think if

Cons

Call centre environment, hard work, low pay,, nasty management, no progression, dealing with snooty John Lewis customers who think they're talking to a partner but it's the Exeter call centre, on way worse pay than JL staff. Awful, don't shop with J L!

We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your time with us here at Sitel. Since then, our pay rates have increased year on year, always above the living wage. Progression and development is very important to us here, with Team Managers spending one to one time with their teams to discuss their goals and aspirations, whilst working together to support each other in achieving those goals. Customer service can be challenging, that’s why we always ensure we have the best customer service advisors available to take on the challenge!

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
