Pros

Can't think of any right now.

Cons

The pay at 9.25 an hour is a joke. After 2 weeks my net pay is less then 600. If I was told during the interview that I was going to be in dtv retention, I would have said no thank you. Not worth the stress for such low pay. Cubicles are not assigned, so you sit where there is a free cubicle. You have to use your break time to go to the rest room and god forbid if you are in after call work for too long. A supervisor will shout across the room for you to become available immediately. I am waiting to pay a few bills off and as soon as I have done that I am outta here. Also keep in mind this company is a third party vendor. One of it's biggest clients could pull the plug at any time and the company is toast. I have seen it with another company and that company went under soon after. As soon as I pay some some bills off I am going back to my old job. One other thing, they will not work with you. I had a second job and wanted the company to work with me. The answer was an outright no.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
