Pros

I met great people while working there. The pay is good.

Cons

At the Sitel I worked at. Had the lowest pay rate. It has "sick building syndrome". The higher ups want you to keep you mouth shut and your head down. It has been colorfully called, "Si-hell" and is know as this not just in the town it is in but as far as the town that is 45min away. Half of the people that work there are on antidepressants and antianxiety. I was on antidepressants when I worked there and after I left, stopped.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
