Pros

Benefits after 3 months, paid training for a month, good support from the management (I'm only at the nd of training). Instead of the USB I just downloaded Amazon Workspaces (free) and get Vmware (free) on there and Boom your on and you can use Wifi and not worry if your ethernet going to fall out or not connect properly.

Cons

Have to use an USB with ethernet or it won't keep the internet, No wifi, System looks and feels old like late 90s early 2000s. So many steps for an "easy" task per customer call, no way to mute yourself until you're on call with a inbound caller.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
