Pros

No need to commute, no need to get dressed so saving money and time on that. Eating and napping at home during breaks. No need to see and or talk to colleagues you might not like. Shifts change every week and time too so it's very good for people who prefer to work on weekends and have a poor social life, like stay at home mums etc.

Cons

If you make even the tiniest mistake, although the job is overall quite easy for an educated person with languages, your quality assessment and metrics will work against you. Remote work is very lonely. After training you are left alone with customers calling you and have to work out very fast what to say 'cause it is very hard to get hold to a supervisor or someone to ask for help. Need to really multitasking and fast otherwise you're finished. Wages are ok if you leave with you husband or parents so you don't have to pay rent or bills. Can't work if you don't have fibre internet connection.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
