Pros

If you get your head down and work hard, Sitel offers opportunities that will take you in any direction you want to go. It's a great place to learn about yourself and build your confidence in the workplace. You will also make some great friends and meet lovely colleagues too. It's a very diverse and inclusive workplace, you can absolutely be yourself.

Cons

As with any employer, it doesn't come without its challenges. These will be different for everyone dependent on your role. It's up to you how you deal with these challenges, but I find open and constructive communication will usually get you the best results. Pay is not always as competitive as other employers, but the opportunities for professional and self-development but Sitel above others.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
