Pros

WFH and some of the employees are nice. You get your P&C license, and most CX are nice.

Cons

The company training was more than lacking. Meetings to go over issues and continued training will happen much less than it is supposed to, which makes improving hard. Metrics are crazy. You have to clock in and be on the phones immediately, but you aren't supposed to open anything work-related until you clock in?! You have 2-15 min breaks and a lunch. All of which you will have to shorten to unlock-log back into your tools. Leaving a very short break. Any ADA compliance is questionable at best. Leaves and accommodations are done 3rd party and good luck getting anything through alight. I applied to a cx service job but was thrown into the licensed agent role. That was a major surprise during training. All in all it is a mess. Very little direction and getting any substantial help is not easy. Just check your guidelines and figure it out ^-^

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
