Pros

Great learning experience for new adjusters.

Cons

NO work life balance & be prepared to put several miles and wear & tear on your vehicle. They provide very little pay & expect you to pay for EVERY claim related expense.

I worked diligently for 470 Claims for 2 years and produced hundreds of claims for them. They paid sporadically, if at all. To date, they owe me over $1,500.00 which I will probably never see, some of the claims are over 9 months past due. Their policy of paying when they get paid is antiquated in this industry. If their accounting department would follow up on accounts receivable with the carriers this problem could be resolved. When you call their accounting department, they say they are too busy to contact the carrier. Stay away from 470 Claims unless you want to wait indefinitely to get paid and are willing to learn the Symbility estimating system. In 2 years I received no communication from upper management.
