I don't want to get you (yes, you that might be making a decision to start working at Fourth) bored with techy stuff, but as developer, and as a company that sells software (even tough the CEO thinks different), bear in mind that there are some really old legacy stuff in there, some new things that can be challenging, but nothing that will keep you interested more than 1~2 years.
Being said that, I want to address something else:
Reading the CEO of a software selling company saying "The tech criticism is boring and if you can’t hack it, go elsewhere" made my jaw drop and roll away from my chair. The company should take these reviews to learn, not as personal attack from developers that left the company.
Last words...
Mr Hood, software developers love what they do, and if they come to this site to read a review about the company they expect to see some "boring" tech criticism, because they will coding for you (hopefully) the next couple of years, and it is your work to make them feel challenged and not boring.
Good luck

Another Dev that left under the immense pressure, lack of fulfillment of promises, and old boring tech.
