Pros
Overall, Fox Factory was a great place to work. The environment was chill and casual, and the company strongly supported work-life balance—I could leave for appointments without issue and work from home as needed. They also invested in my professional development, covering a conference and certification, which I really appreciated.
Cons
The culture is friendly, but the office layout makes it feel disjointed between departments. Management was supportive on a personal level, but I could have used more guidance in my role. Since I was hired with transferable skills rather than direct experience, I often struggled to find meaningful work, making some days feel unproductive. It sometimes felt like my managers didn’t want to manage. If you’re highly self-directed, it could be a great fit. But if you need structure or clearer expectations, it might be challenging depending on your management.
