Pros
remote work, fairly loose management styles, the CEO seems really dialed in to company objecticves but isn't aware of the way some sales teams are actually being led by toxic leaders. Great base comp for me personally but some others on my team were being paid HALF to do the same exact job and this made things very messy. Some leaders here and some of the sellers are amazing people who truly love the value the company is trying to provide. There are a lot of support teams designed to help AE's close deals. Sometimes they are effective, sometimes not.
Cons
Stock plummeting horribly since last year. No idea how to practice what they preach, They treat people very differently than what the courses they sell suggest. When you bring up how a lack of culture is hurting their sales and their employee engagement, they say "be careful . do not talk about this." I was told to not speak my mind even though I approached it respectfully. Massive layoffs all the time. They dont put people leaders in management, they put strong sellers in leadership and the culture suffers. One manager spent 35 minutes on a team meeting ragging on an old teammate and the manager he replaced who quit and everyone was mortified, calling eachother directly after the meeting type of thing, just horrible, egotistical, insecure behavior that wouldnt fly in any industry, This same leader has a horrible reputation at the company but they do nothign about it. He cancelled more than half of our one on ones and when we did have them, he'd rush through them, end them early, and do nothing to develop skills. He loves the sound of his own voice a bit too much. Acts very very very different when his leaders are around. Just fake. Now contrast this with the idea that this company thinks they are the gold standard for teaching OTHERS how to lead people. Its super weird. Also, unrelated...Bob Whitman is NOT the CEO and has not been for quite some time (years+)
