The top management sets the tone for the whole department and the overall vibe is blatant favoritism, tolerance of incompetence and bias towards employees of a certain gender. If you are of a preferred gender you can do no wrong. Everything you say or do will be met with "that's a good point and I agree with you". For those who actually produce constructive and good work, you'll never receive any encouragement or affirmation. There is consistent favoritism towards incompetent workers because they do not threaten top management (take over their job) and thus the culture and work is kept mediocre. All you need to do is take a look at the very few projects or initiatives accomplished over the last few years and you can tell that everything here is fake. Nobody in the company does any proper work because they do not know how to do anything. Everyone is pretending to work. If you join, you better not be competent because you will lose your job very quickly. All the leaders are unprofessional and mediocre at best. The company operates like one that's living in the 2000's. All the competitors are advancing ahead of it. Advice to management: Fire the leaders who show favoritism. This will fix a lot of problems.
