Pros

They will hire ANYBODY who will work cheap.

Cons

* The company is largely run by ex-military and sports stars. They are very backward and disrespectful of women in general: wages, promotions (not one female director in a huge store), simple respect in conversation, or expectations. *They advertise a full time position, then offer you part-time, telling you right at your interview that "you'll probably need a second job"! Outrageously insulting. Then your schedule is constantly all over the map making that impossible. I had one day changed 3 different times. * You will likely lose your job before you ever get into the union (or on the benefits plan). * They fire new people for other peoples' dishonesty and mistakes. I was astounded at what they did to a cashier (after giving her a mere 7 hours off between holiday shifts too). * there is a lot of turf wars between petty managers who are hungry for authority-it's pretty funny sometimes. * There are a LOT of people working there who are hurt. The stores do not invest in adequate equipment, so people are working with defective, dangerous, and inefficient crap. * I wish I had voice-recorded the promises made to me at my interview: all lies! So many lies!

Pros

If you have good relationship with your manager and you can trust them to have your back, it is an amazing place to work, and you will find success easy.

Cons

If you have lost the confidence of your manager, or have bad communication with your manager, it makes it very hard to be seen and be successful.

Pros

Job can be fun and interesting Always something new to learn Lots of personal fulfillment as a manager when things go right

Cons

Unsupportive upper management Toxic work culture, unpaid overtime is rewarded and even expected or forced, even to the tune of multiple weeks in a row with no days off when you are salaried. They claim to support work life balance but even the smallest effort to set boundaries is heavily punished. Not paid as much as we should be for everything we have to do and deal with
