Pros

Decent compensation relative to some market standards. Team colleagues can be supportive and skilled.

Cons

The company has significant control issues, largely due to key positions being held by family members and close friends of the CEO. This affects transparency, and fairness. Remote work options are heavily restricted, limiting flexibility and work-life balance. Career growth is minimal, with few opportunities for promotion or skill development beyond entry or mid-level roles.

Pros

Compensation is well above the market average, especially in Cyprus. The firm is expanding so the outlook is pretty positive as far as one's job security is concerned.

Cons

Everything else, really. Remote work is heavily discouraged, office politics is the name of the game and the internal IT systems are frankly subpar. The approach to some aspects of investment banking is at times amateurish and lacking in comparison to the local competition. Different entities within the same holding engage in cutthroat tactics with each other instead of being part of one whole group with a single goal. If you have ever watched Office Space, it's pretty close to the state of affairs here. The firm engages in a lot of fairly pointless cliche team building exercises, though fortunately little of it is mandatory.
