Pros

Co-workers are incredibly supportive and it can feel like a family. The company is still family-owned and they are involved and supportive. You feel like you form a connection with the Freemans.

Cons

Long hours and you can be on the road for weeks at a time which means you don't have much of a work-life balance. Your experience is reflective of who is your direct supervisor and if you have a bad one, God help you. HR is not helpful. Many of the company's executives and HR still are grounded in a "business as usual" boys club so their DEI awareness is lacking. Additionally, best of luck getting a promotion. They like to give you a promotion only after you've started doing your boss's boss's job.

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
