Pros

Summer Fridays, Jeans in the NJ office Management, Partner, HR and Seniors care about the growth of all staff. If staff works hard and has a positive attitude they will excel within the firm. Additionally, if you have preferences on what kind of jobs you want to work on (industry, travel etc.) they will take that into consideration. Senior management will go above and beyond training staff if they staff is willing to work hard and ask for help. Training is exceptional. The Company does not expect you to start your career with all the answers and expects questions. But with hard work and working closely with the people above you the amount one can learn in a few years is incredible. You have the possibility to start jobs from start to finish if you take the right initiative. Growth is very fast. Expect to be promoted every year until senior level. Promotions are always there if the employee takes the right initiative. Excellent job security as long as the employee continues to work hard and show initiative. Friendly environment. You never feel unappreciated. Partners and Mangers will go out of their way to tell you thank you after jobs for working hard and congratulate you for doing a good job.

Cons

None. As long as you work hard and show initiative you will be successful.

Pros

Try to do things to show they care about employees, like gift cards for holidays and birthdays, and happy hour events. Summer Fridays, but they can make you work on them so it's a questionable pro Lack of organization allowed me to basically hang out and avoid doing work for a few months straight. Work from home is allowed, well I really just did it a lot and wasn't told not to for a while.

Cons

Summer Fridays that you plan to be off can be taken away to do work for some Managers who want to get ahead of jobs that are months from being completed. They really don't get rid of bad employees fast enough. People get WAY too many chances before being let go. I was able to bounce around a few groups for a while doing barely any work and then started working from home most the time because commuting in to do no work was a waste of time. Some terrible Managers who micromanage jobs and demand you work 24/7 because "the partner needs this!". Too much focus on billed hours vs jobs getting done. Why should I get 50+ billed hours if I get my work done in 43? Why is it a negative I'm not killing myself to work more hours when I'm more efficient than the other people on a client?

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you feel cared for by the firm. We do offer many perks to recognize and reward our employees and appreciate the hard work throughout the year from our team members. One of these perks is the summer Fridays. While it can happen that sometimes someone may be asked to work a Friday or two, generally speaking this is something all employees take advantage of and truly sets us apart as a firm and employer. We assess performance in an ongoing manner throughout the year and always strive to retain and keep our top talent engaged. We do our best to treat our professionals like professionals and therefor try not to micromanage. Part of that means asking our people to work in order to best service our clients and the hours threshold on that may look different depending on the level and the client. We appreciate your feedback and will take this into consideration as we move forward. If you have any further comments or points of feedback, please feel free to reach out to your local HR Rep, thanks!
