Pros
Consistent weekly pay Early schedule for those that want the freedom Occasional free chips if you're into that
Cons
WHAT THEY FAIL TO TELL YOU: (1) You will start at the absolute bottom (Granted; expected when started at new company) - You will be a Route Sales Associate covering down routes (vacations, days off, call outs) - You will have to work ALL weekends, NOT OCCASIONAL. - Your days off will fall during the week (2) Being that your days off are during the week, the ROUTE LEAD will order extremely light on his days and heavy for your cover day. - the orders are placed 2 days out ex: Fridays orders are placed Wednesday - the estimated yearly salary is calculated on a 10 day workday = 50 hours a week (3) After you a month or so you will be encouraged to BID on a route - Being that you are the lowest on the totem pole you will win a terrible route - usually with a LEAD - You will be Co-Lead on a route , Less pay hourly but sales incentives kick in - You'd be subjected to the same RSA duties as the days off are more so the same (4) Terrible truck fleet - NO AC OR HEAT IN 75% OF TRUCKS. - You will be COLD in the winter - You will be HOT in the summer (5) You'd be surprised how physical chips can be lol - Not dainty work
