Pros

This is one of the better places to come get any social work experience. You'll handle every situation from a women in need to a single dad with kids looking for somewhere to go. Not for the faint of heart, but it builds you as a person and tests your social work skills.

Cons

They don't give kudos to many with a job well done. They are more focused on the negatives(I've personally never had that problem, but others have). They aren't the best about hiring with in and if they do they pick seniority verses skills, even if the person isn't the best employee with the seniority

Pros

I received multiple pay raises from November 2020 till September 2022 in addition to yearly bonuses. The pay raises were roughly about 3 %, but I don't remember the amounts of the bonuses. However, every little bit helped.

Cons

While I was there, not once did I receive a yearly review, or any feedback positive or negative.

Pros

Great clients. Most of my coworkers were great. The pay was very good, especially for the overnight shift. There was a huge focus on taking time off for mental health. There were also several cost of living wage raises.

Cons

There were a few coworkers that didn't pull their weight. They were lazy and barely did anything. One would sleep on the job overnight and the other would bully clients about the smallest things. Then you had to do damage control when they set off a client.
