i would like to be able to list out positive things about a company that I've worked for for two and a half years. but......... nothing is really jumping to mind.

So what I’ll do is talk about the glaring and growing negatives about this place I call my employer. First off the management gets paid for I’m not sure what maybe to just fill out charts on how the reps and subordinates are not performing like they should be. But let’s start from the beginning. The training is sketched out to give you a sample of knowledge from the dozens of things that we are asked to do so you go out to the phones feeling like Forrest Gump talking to the people. You are then FORCED to try and sell something to the customer on every call even if they are irate because the services that we offer are subpar at best with our competitors. Were also graded on every aspect out of time here, how long we talk to customers to even how long we go to the bathroom. (Funny thing I got written up for using the restroom because I didn’t tell someone where I was going) what is this kindergarten. the supervisors on the floor care very little about their teams just about the commission that they are earning them or lack thereof, and will spend 3-4 hours a day just talking to people nothing to do about work but when the end of the month comes around and the reports are due they are too busy to assist a team member. Funny how that work huh. (that was mostly with my time in customer service) you will always see a rep getting pulled away to be told about how poorly they are doing but rarely see any praise for someone going above and beyond. I have actually seen a sup walk up to someone that he doesn't like and tell them they were out of dress code for wearing a hat while walking directly by someone else who was and said nothing to that person. Office politics are a big thing here and guess what if we can’t tell where your head starts and someone high up butt begins you don’t have a snowballs chance or leaving the chair that you are in. I also have been here two years and never once received a bonus. Not a big deal to me just been the first company that I've been a part of that doesn't offer that to all of their employees. Now please don’t get confused if you’re in an upper position rest assured you'll get a nice fat check here and there for your contributions to the company but the people that are doing the leg work HA just sit there and keep working. But back to the company our systems previously mentioned are completely worthless, some are so old and outdated they are from the 90's. Are you kidding me were a fortune 400 company and we can’t even update the systems that are supporting our customers. Also as far as us being a communication company that is a laughable thought considering that we have no idea what the different departments are doing cause guess what as previously mentioned we use about 12 different systems. it is funny though because instead of just giving people a raise and retaining some of their employees who don’t make enough to live they would rather just churn and burn through new hire classes and lose more than half in 6 month for a multitude of reasons. so what I’m simply saying is this place just makes you scratch your head and wonder how we are even still in business, because the customer HATE OUR PRODUCTS but since we only deal with the back woods of 'Murica guess what we have monopolies out there and they have no choice but to go with our .56 meg internet. One last thing as far as the pay goes it was fine until a year or so ago when they changed the payout rate for your commission. basic run down here if you met highest level you were paid .40 cents on the dollar for everything that you sold and knew exactly what you were getting which were pretty nice checks. (I personally went and bought a brand new big screen cash with one commission check) but now they changed it to where if a customer gives you a bad review just one and you take 600-700 average calls a month and your survey score is below par guess what kiss 35%of your pay out good buy plus the additional 100$ pay out gone also. so let’s do the simple breakdown that is 1 customer out of 650 we'll say that didn't like you for whatever reason and may not have even been your fault maybe it was the .56 meg internet that we provide and they were mad and venting during the survey guess what the company just pocketed 35% plus 100$ of what you should have made. MMMMMMMMMMM.............. I WONDER WHERE THE UPPER MANAGEMENT BONUS CHECKS COME FROM??????????? We need Sherlock and Watson for this one. I will end with this infamous quote from the worst supervisor that I have even been associated with. “always do as a say and never as I do” man that is a strong leader right there. P.S our techs suck don't show up to jobs or just close out tickets with out working them then guess what we get the pissed off customer who gives us a bad score and we lose hundreds of dollars seems completely legit right i know.
