Pros
The pay is good and MOST people are friendly to work with.
Cons
The Senior management has no direction and provides no support. They do restructures every couple of years so your job is never secure. They overwork staff and provide no coherent decision making, resulting in a toxic stressed out workplace full of in fighting and making little progress. The organization runs on a who's voice is louder or who is liked more by management style which shows no respect for other workers. This results in poor mental health of staff, creating anxiety issues around work and killing confidence levels. Internally systems and processes are lacking and what is there is not clear or fit for purpose. When issues are raised its seen as the responsibility of small unqualified task groups to resolve issues with computer systems or training needs, which only adds to staff work loads and does little to solve the issues. There is a general culture of "calling people out" among colleagues instead of supporting one another and more time seems to be spent arguing and blaming others then it does working to end AIDS.
